第二張專輯-Ode的誕生, The Making of Ode

第二張專輯特別要感謝薩克斯風手 Tom。疫情期間，身在歐洲的團員無法演奏，也無法見面。雖然我在台灣仍能順利工作和演出，但我們無法一起排練或演奏。Tom 認為 Vestige 的音樂很獨特，並不希望樂團在第一張專輯後停滯不前，因此在疫情期間他創作了幾首新歌，鼓勵大家繼續製作第二張專輯。我也寫了一些曲子，貝斯手 Fil 也創作了幾首。由於義大利的小號手 Marco 無法參與錄音，我們邀請了最初的小號手 Thomas 回來，但 Marco 送給我們一首歌，長號手 Quinten 編曲後也被收錄進專輯，成為對 Marco 的紀念。

The second album owes a special thanks to saxophonist Tom. During the pandemic, the band members in Europe couldn’t meet or perform. While I was able to continue working and performing in Taiwan, we couldn’t rehearse or play together. Tom felt that Vestige’s music was unique and didn’t want the band to stall after the first album, so he wrote several new songs during the pandemic, encouraging us to move forward with the second album. I also contributed a few songs, and bassist Fil wrote some as well. Since the trumpeter Marco in Italy couldn’t join the recording, we brought back the original trumpeter Thomas. In a touching gesture, Marco gave us a song, which trombonist Quinten arranged, and we included it in the album as a tribute to him.
